Italian Stromboli is an easy, cheesy, meat-filled meal made with refrigerated pizza crust, ham, Genoa salami, pepperoni, and your choice of provolone or mozzarella cheese. Everything is rolled together, brushed with a savory garlic-Parmesan butter, and baked until the crust is golden and the cheese is melted.

This Stromboli comes together in about 30 minutes, making it a great choice for a quick lunch, easy dinner, or casual get-together. The combination of three Italian-style meats, melted cheese, and garlic butter gives every slice plenty of flavor.

You can use sliced cheese or shredded cheese, depending on what you have on hand. Serve it warm on its own or with your favorite pizza or marinara sauce for dipping.

Italian Stromboli is an easy 30-minute meal made with pizza crust, ham, Genoa salami, pepperoni, and melted provolone or mozzarella cheese. Brushed with garlic-Parmesan butter and baked until golden, this cheesy Italian-inspired Stromboli makes a delicious lunch, dinner, or party snack.

Ingredients

  • 1 pop-can pizza crust tube of Pillsbury
  • 8 slices ham deli
  • 10 slices salami Genoa
  • 12 slices pepperoni
  • 8 slices provolone cheese or mozzarella. (You could definitely use shredded cheese as well)
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 3 garlic cloves minced
  • 2 teaspoons parsley chopped
  • 3 tablespoons Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 400°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Melt the 3 tablespoons butter in the microwave. Stir in the 3 minced garlic cloves, 2 teaspoons chopped parsley, and 3 tablespoons Parmesan cheese. Set aside.
  • Unroll the pizza crust onto the prepared baking sheet and gently stretch it to almost the size of the baking sheet.
  • Layer the 8 slices ham, 10 slices Genoa salami, and 12 slices pepperoni over the dough. Place the 8 slices provolone or mozzarella cheese over the meats. Shredded cheese can be used instead.
  • Starting from a long side, roll the dough tightly into a Stromboli. Pinch the seam closed securely.
  • Seal both ends by pinching the dough together, then fold and mold the excess dough underneath the Stromboli.
  • Using a serrated knife, make several shallow scores across the top of the Stromboli to allow steam to escape while baking.
  • Brush the garlic-Parmesan butter mixture evenly over the top.
  • Bake at 400°F for about 20 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is melted.
  • Let the Stromboli rest for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
