This creamy coleslaw is based on the coleslaw recipe once served at Chick-fil-A. When Chick-fil-A removed coleslaw from its menu in 2016, they shared the recipe so fans could continue making it at home. Thanks to Chick-fil-A for sharing it!
The recipe is wonderfully simple, combining finely chopped cabbage and carrots with a creamy dressing made from mayonnaise, vinegar, sugar, dry mustard, and salt. The coleslaw needs about two hours to chill and meld, giving the cabbage time to absorb the sweet and tangy dressing.
It’s an easy make-ahead side dish that’s perfect for picnics, barbecues, family gatherings, or anytime you’re craving the classic Chick-fil-A version of coleslaw.
