Slow Cooker Pork Loin Roast is an easy, flavorful way to prepare a large pork roast with very little hands-on cooking. A 5-pound pork loin is rubbed with a savory blend of seasoning salt, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, dried mustard, onion powder, and black pepper, then slowly cooked until tender.
The slow cooker does most of the work, making this a convenient recipe when you’re feeding a crowd or simply want dinner ready when you are. The seasoning creates a flavorful crust while the pork cooks gently over several hours.
Once cooked, the pork can be cooled slightly and sliced for a traditional roast dinner, or shredded and served with your favorite barbecue sauce or other sauce. This flexibility makes it useful for everything from a family dinner to sandwiches, leftovers, and casual gatherings.
Serve sliced pork with mashed potatoes, roasted vegetables, green beans, or your favorite side dishes. If you prefer shredded pork, add barbecue sauce and serve it on buns for an easy pulled-pork-style meal.
