Colorado Golden is a simple, flavorful dry rub for chicken wings that combines brown sugar, black pepper, kosher salt, chipotle powder, garlic, onion, and cumin. The brown sugar adds a touch of sweetness while the chipotle provides a smoky, mildly spicy flavor.
This is an easy rub to keep on hand when you want to give your basic chicken wings a different flavor without making a sauce. Prepare the wings using your preferred cooking method, apply the rub, and enjoy them hot.
