Tender sirloin steak and pasta tossed in a creamy garlic butter sauce made with Parmesan and Boursin cheese. A rich and satisfying dinner that comes together in about 20 minutes.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb sirloin steak cut into bite-sized pieces or slices
  • 20 oz pasta fresh or frozen
  • 3 tablespoon butter
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup Parmesan cheese grated
  • ¼ cup Cheese, Boursin See our Homemade Boursin cheese recipe
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes optional
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley chopped

Instructions

  • Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the pasta according to the package directions. Drain and set aside.
  • While the pasta cooks, heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Season the steak with salt and black pepper, then add it to the skillet. Sear for 2–3 minutes per side, or until browned and cooked to your desired doneness. Remove the steak from the skillet and set aside.
  • Reduce the heat to medium and add the butter and minced garlic to the same skillet. Cook for about 1 minute, stirring, until the garlic is fragrant.
  • Add the beef broth, heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, Boursin cheese, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes, if using. Stir well and simmer for 3–4 minutes, until the sauce is slightly thickened.
  • Add the cooked pasta and steak to the skillet. Toss gently until everything is well coated with the sauce. Cook for another 2–3 minutes, allowing the pasta and steak to heat through and the flavors to combine.
  • Sprinkle with fresh parsley and additional Parmesan cheese, if desired. Serve immediately.
