Apple Cider Chicken Wings are a flavorful twist on classic baked wings, combining smoky paprika, hot paprika, and ground mustard with a sweet-tangy apple cider glaze. The wings are marinated with the spices before being roasted until crisp and then finished under the broiler with a reduced mixture of fresh apple cider, apple cider vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, and Dijon mustard.
The apple cider glaze gives these wings a wonderful balance of sweet, tangy, savory, and smoky flavors. They are perfect for game day, parties, gatherings, or anytime you want something a little different from traditional buffalo-style wings.
For easier cleanup and more even browning, the wings can be placed on racks set over the baking sheets. Serve them hot with crisp celery sticks and fresh apple slices for a fun combination of flavors.
